We have high expectations of academic performance and we are focused on gaining the best outcomes from al the children. We encourage and celebrate academic excellence.

Our specialist programs compliment our classes and include science, art, music and language (Japanese) programs. We also provide a specialist program for ‘gifted and talented’ students.

Our outstanding music program includes classroom tuition and private lessons. More than 40% of our children are enrolled in private tuition in keyboard, drums, guitar or voice.

We also value cooperation, community responsibility and respect for self and others. At our school we have high expectations in regard to welfare and discipline; we insist that children are courteous and respectful at all times. We adhere to a strict code of conduct and do not tolerate bullying of any sort.

We are dedicated to developing educational breadth and giving all children opportunities to grow and learn in a harmonious, safe and challenging environment. We have been ranked by our parents, teachers and children as being in the top 20% of all Victorian Schools (DEECD annual surveys).

We offer after school care and also offer school sport (Bandiana Dance Troupe and Bandiana Fitness). Bus transport is available to and from our school.
